Germany DATEV-style export

Make a Buchungsstapel file your adviser can import into DATEV.

# Germany DATEV-style export

The file has the DATEV header line, the column titles, and one row per amount: the account, the counter-account, the amount, the date and the text. An entry with several lines is split by pairing debits with credits, so the amounts always add up. Tax keys are not set; your adviser assigns them.

Where it goes. Send it to your adviser, who imports it. Account numbers are the codes from your chart of accounts; make sure they match the adviser's chart.

Pop Books makes the file. You send it. Pop Books does not connect to any tax authority, portal or Peppol access point, and it does not file anything for you. The layout notes were last reviewed in 2026-11; confirm unusual cases with your adviser or provider before you rely on a file in a new country.
