# Netherlands auditfile

The file follows the XAF 3.2 layout. It holds the ledger accounts, twelve periods, the opening balance and the journals with their entries. The debtor and creditor lists are left empty.

Where it goes. To your accountant or the auditor, who opens it in an audit tool. Pop Books does not send it to the Belastingdienst.

Pop Books makes the file. You send it. Pop Books does not connect to any tax authority, portal or Peppol access point, and it does not file anything for you. The layout notes were last reviewed in 2026-11; confirm unusual cases with your adviser or provider before you rely on a file in a new country.
