The file holds the opening record, the chart of accounts and the journal entries, with the record counts the format asks for. It is partial: balances (I150 and I155), the financial statements (block J) and the digital signature are not produced.
Where it goes. Open it in the Brazilian validator your accountant uses, complete the missing blocks there, sign it and submit it. Pop Books does not submit anything.
Pop Books makes the file. You send it. Pop Books does not connect to any tax authority, portal or Peppol access point, and it does not file anything for you. The layout notes were last reviewed in 2026-11; confirm unusual cases with your adviser or provider before you rely on a file in a new country.
