Plain and Accountant view
The two views show the same books with different words and columns.

The switch at the top of every screen changes labels and columns. It never changes your data.
| Plain view | Accountant view | | --- | --- | | Money in | Sales and receipts | | Money out | Expenses and payments | | Who owes you | Accounts receivable | | Who you owe | Accounts payable |
What the Accountant view adds
- Debit and credit columns on every entry.
- The full list of accounts, the general ledger and the trial balance.
- Journal entries, reversals and the edit history with before and after values.
In Plain view, a short explanation of each accounting term appears when you hover over it or move focus to it.
Switching
Use the switch at any time. Your choice is remembered on this device. If you switch to Plain while on the Accounts screen, you are taken back to Home.
