The free trial
Try Pop Books for 14 days, and what happens when the trial ends.
Updated Nov 2, 2026
A trial lets you use Pop Books for 14 days with a trial licence. While it lasts, a bar at the top of the window shows how many days are left, and "Trial" appears in the window title. Printed reports and exported report files carry the line "Prepared with a trial licence".
What happens when it ends
Your books stay yours. After the 14 days the program becomes read-only:
- You can open and read everything you entered.
- You can export reports and make backups.
- You cannot add or change records until you have a licence.
Nothing is deleted when a trial ends.
How to buy
Choose Buy a licence in the bar at the top, or go to https://thepopstreet.com/products/books. After you buy, enter your licence key under the licence screen. Your books carry on from where you left them.
Turning the clock back
The program remembers the latest date it has seen. Setting your computer's clock back does not add days to a trial.
