# Japan qualified invoices (T-number)
Set up. Enter your registration number: the letter T followed by 13 digits. Pop Books checks the check digit, so a mistyped number is refused when you save.
On the invoice. The number is written into the Peppol PINT Japan file. For vendors, keep the number a supplier gives you in their tax number so you can see which bills come from registered suppliers.
Where it goes. Upload the PINT file to your Peppol access point. A paper or PDF qualified invoice needs your number, the date, the items with the tax rate marked, and the amounts per rate; check the wording with your adviser.
Pop Books makes the file. You send it. Pop Books does not connect to any tax authority, portal or Peppol access point, and it does not file anything for you. The layout notes were last reviewed in 2026-11; confirm unusual cases with your adviser or provider before you rely on a file in a new country.
