# E-way bills

Moving goods worth more than a set value usually needs an e-way bill. You make it on the e-way bill portal. Pop Books prepares the file and keeps the number.

Steps

1. In Setup, check the E-way bill threshold. Type the limit that applies to you now; it changes.
2. Open India: GST, TDS and payroll files, E-invoice and e-way, choose the document and press E-way bill file.
3. Transport details (vehicle, distance, transporter) come from the document. The page warns you when something is missing.
4. Download the file and upload it on the portal.
5. Type the e-way bill number and the valid-up-to date under Record the e-way bill number.

Pop Books does not generate the number and never contacts the portal.
