Start your brief

Your first week with Stallrow

A calm, day-by-day plan for your first week: sign-ins, products, a test order, and the first approvals started.

Updated Oct 25, 2026

You do not need to do everything at once. This plan puts the slow things first, because approvals take time, and the quick things around them.

Day 1: sign-ins and basics

  1. Sign in as the owner and set a long password only you know.
  2. Add the people who will work with you, and give each the smallest role they need. See Staff roles and permissions.
  3. Remove any sample sign-ins we used during the pilot.
  4. Check the sales tax setting with your accountant.
  5. If you have a counter, set the starting cash float and decide who counts the drawer.

Day 2: start the slow approvals

Open or check your seller accounts. Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop usually take longest, so begin those now. Read Marketplace approvals and timelines to see what each one asks for.

Days 3 and 4: products

  1. Add your best sellers first. See Adding products and photos.
  2. Give each product a real photo, a few tags and a plain description. The listing health score tells you what is missing.
  3. Count your shelves and enter opening stock, so your records start true.

Day 5: a test order, start to finish

  1. Place a test order on your storefront in test mode. See Card payments and test mode.
  2. Open the order, make a test label and mark it shipped. See Shipping labels and tracking.
  3. Look at your stock count and see it fall by the right amount.

After the first week

  • Add the free product links for Facebook, Instagram and Google. See Facebook, Instagram and Google feeds.
  • Connect one marketplace at a time and publish a single test listing before you publish more.
  • Each morning, open the dashboard. Look at low stock, any channel warnings and new messages.
  • Each evening, close the till if you use the register.

Before your first real sale, ask us to confirm that a nightly backup of your data is in place.
