PartsTech is a parts ordering service. The connection stays off until you switch it on with your own PartsTech account. You pay PartsTech directly and Pop Dispatch adds no charge.
Before you start #
- You need the owner role.
- You need a PartsTech account and the access key that account gives you.
Steps #
- Open Settings, then Connections.
- On the PartsTech card, type your account name and paste the access key.
- Choose Save. The key is stored sealed and is never shown again.
- Choose Switch on. The card shows On.
- Choose Test connection. The result and the time show on the card.
What the test checks #
The test confirms that your account name and key are saved and that PartsTech's site answers. No key is sent.
Switch it off #
Choose Switch off at any time. To remove the saved key, ask your administrator to delete the connection.
If something goes wrong #
- Save the PartsTech account name and access key before switching it on. Fill in both boxes and choose Save first.
- Test failed. Read the note on the card and try again in a few minutes.
