Two lists help you choose who to send. You will be able to see each driver's state and each truck's documents at a glance, and keep both lists up to date.

Before you start #

You need the dispatcher, advisor, manager or owner role. Changing drivers is for the owner, manager and dispatcher, who see the Add driver and Edit driver buttons. Advisors can read the list.

Steps #

  1. Choose Drivers. Each row shows the name, state (Available, On a call or Off duty), the truck, the phone and the current call.
  2. Choose Trucks. Each row shows the unit, plate, whether it is ready, and the inspection and insurance dates.
  3. A truck with an open critical defect shows the reason in red. Assigning it is refused until a manager clears the defect.
  4. To add a truck, choose Add truck and enter the unit number and any details you have. Select a truck and choose Edit truck (Command-E) to change it. Turn off In service to take a truck off the board and the assign list. Its history stays.
  5. To add a driver, choose Add driver and enter the name and phone. Choose the usual truck and how the driver is paid: Per hour, Per call or Percent of call, with the amount or percentage. Select a driver and choose Edit driver (Command-E) to change any of these.
  6. To make a driver inactive, turn off Active. The sheet shows what blocks it: a shift or an open call has to finish first. Open advance money can be carried forward when you confirm it. The driver's sign-in ends with them.
