Checked against Pop Street Dispatch 0.1.0

The Fleet screen gathers what you keep about your trucks and equipment. You will be able to add a truck, see which services are due and check trips, fuel, documents and advances.

Before you start #

You need the dispatcher, advisor, manager or owner role. The Advances tab is for the owner, manager and dispatcher. Changes to Fleet records need the Fleet module in your licence.

Steps #

  1. Choose Fleet in the sidebar, then choose a tab along the top.
  2. Assets lists each unit with its state: Ready, Out of service or Retired. Choose Add truck, or select a unit and choose Edit truck (Command-E). Turn off In service to retire a unit.
  3. Service due shows each maintenance schedule with its status: overdue, due soon or on track.
  4. Trips lists the trips drivers started, with start time, route and distance.
  5. Fuel asks you to choose a unit, then lists its fills.
  6. Documents shows registrations, insurance and licences with the days left. Expired and expiring documents carry a symbol and a word.
  7. Advances asks you to choose a driver, then shows the balance and each advance.

If something goes wrong #

  • The server says Fleet needs a licence: ask your supplier to add Fleet to your licence.
  • A unit number already exists: unit numbers are unique among your own units.
