Checked against Pop Dispatch 0.1.0

The Motor clubs screen lists the jobs you took from roadside networks and insurers. You will be able to record a job with the club's dispatch number, the ETA you promised and the rates agreed, and see at once when a job runs late.

Before you start #

You need the owner, manager, advisor or dispatcher role and a connection to the server.

Steps #

  1. Choose Motor clubs in the sidebar.
  2. Choose New motor-club job.
  3. Type the Motor club name and the Club PO or dispatch number.
  4. Enter the pickup. It is required.
  5. Under ETA promised, in minutes, type a number from 1 to 1440.
  6. Add the miles, then the Rates agreed: Hookup, Per mile past the included miles, Included miles and Other charges. The quote is shown exactly as you typed it.
  7. Choose Take job. The job becomes a tow call. The first time you use a club name, Pop Dispatch makes an account for that club.
  8. Select a job in the list and choose Open the call to go to the tow call.
  9. Watch the ETA. When the promised ETA has passed and the job is still open, the row shows Late with the time it was due.

If something goes wrong #

  • The server refuses the job because the dispatch number is already used: each club dispatch number is taken once. Open the existing job instead.
  • The pickup is empty: type the pickup address.
  • The ETA is outside 1 to 1440: type a number of minutes in that range.
